Office Staff

We have been performing restoration services for over 20 years and we’ve worked hard on building lasting relationships with businesses and people. Relationships are built on commitment and trust. Our commitment is to deliver professional quality service and workmanship each and every time. This is what home and business owners not only expect, but deserve.

Garry Battaglia, President

With over 40 years of dedication to the fine art of building construction, Garry is still going strong. After several years as a dedicated New York City Police Officer during the 1960’s and 70’s, Garry and his wife decided that Florida would be a better place to raise their family of four sons. Having always had a penchant for construction, Garry chose to pursue his true calling as a 4th generation builder. After 40 years in the construction of high-end residences, commercial complexes, manufacturing/warehousing, and home remodeling, Garry is still going strong with the assistance of his sons. In his spare time, he enjoys bicycle touring, working on his classic car, fishing, and spending time with his wife of over 50 years, four sons, and five grandchildren.

Joe Tine, General Manager

With 25 years experience in the water, mold, construction and asbestos remediation industry, Joe has honed his skills at building, preserving, and restoring one of peoples’ most valuable assets…their homes. After selling his successful painting and remodeling company in New Hampshire, Joe and his wife moved to the sunny shores of Florida. However it didn’t take long for Joe to see the need for his experience and start looking for ways to help people in need. In 2009 Joe revived his role in the building industry, put on his tool belt and got back to work as an accolade-winning superintendent for a large national homebuilder. The rest, as they say, is history...of which we’re glad to be part. Joe, his wife and their son live in Venice, where Joe enjoys tinkering on his classic car in his spare time (when he has spare time) and attending industry social networking functions. Joe looks forward to servicing as many people as he can in the coming years.

Cole Stellwag, Field Supervisor

With over 10 years working for Myco-Tek, Cole has earned his way up to supervising the field personnel. He is a State of Florida Licensed Mold Assessor (MRSA2687) as well as a State of Florida Licensed Mold Remediator (MRSR2899). Cole grew up in a very small town in the state of South Dakota, where he attended college and earned a degree in Business Management and Organizational Leadership. After school, Cole pursued a career as a mortgage broker in booming Florida. Life was great, until the housing market crashed. One of the most common reasons his clients were refinancing their homes was due to emergency losses and he decided that if he couldn’t help them on the monetary side, he may be able to help them in another way. Cole, his wife and two of their three sons live in North Port. Their eldest son is a proud member of the United States Army and is currently stationed in North Carolina. Cole and his family enjoy going to see the Tampa Bay sports teams, especially the Lightning!
