Mold

Mold: a common problem here in Florida. Due to high humidity and frequent heavy rain, mold is literally a growing concern and should be handled appropriately.

Septic Back-Up

Septic Back-Up: not a common problem, but when it happens it's a major concern. Septic is something that needs to be addressed immediately and cleaned thoroughly.

Fire

Fire: certain times of the year are very dry and fire is a possibility, but it isn't just fire damage: smoke creates a big problem as well. Smoke lingers and needs to be cleaned properly by trained professionals.

Asbestos

Asbestos: the name given to a group of naturally occurring minerals. Breathing asbestos fibers can cause a buildup of scar-like tissue in the lungs called asbestosis and result in loss of lung function that often progresses to disability and death.

Water

Water: can be a problem if not handled quickly and efficiently. Mold will grow if water is not extracted and dried out as soon as possible.

Lead

Lead: while much less common today, health effects at very high BLLs can range from acute effects such as convulsions, coma, and in some cases, death, to more chronic conditions such as anemia, peripheral neuropathy, interstitial kidney fibrosis, and severe abdominal cramping.
